We flew from San Jose to Seattle then on to Amsterdam. On the plane I met an interesting guy, Abdul. He and about a dozen other guys had just spent six weeks in Seattle taking classes at Boing. They were on their way to Istambul for another six weeks of putting their new knowledge to work.

They work for Qutar airlines which had recently purchased several new planes. He was interesing and after a couple drinks he was very interesting. He was messing with his computer playing Arabic music for his buddies. After gabbing for a while he said he was married to a Scottish girl. Quite an interesting guy. He is an inspector. He goes around and makes sure maintenance is being done and documented correctly.
