Asian Stuffing For Lettuce or potstickers -
Ingredients-

1 head of iceberg, romaine or butter lettuce (optional)
1 pound hamburger, ground chicken or pork
3 Cloves of garlic minced
1 cup chopped scallion greens (I'll bet chives would work too)
1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh ginger
3/4 cup of Hosin sauce (or a full 7oz jar)
4 tablespoons of soy sauce (1/4 cup)
1 tablespoon of dark sesame oil
3/4 cup of chopped water chestnuts (chop up the whole can)
fresh cilantro garnish - optional

Cook meat, add garlic, cook until browned. Drain the grease. Add all the other items. Cook under medium low heat until it's heated through.

Spoon filling onto the lettuce leaf, garnish with cilantro sprigs. Fold up and eat like a burrito.

I have not tried this but I think it would be good filling for homemade potstickers.

Yes it is a good filling for potstickers. Get some round wanton wrappers, put a small scoop of the stuff on the wanton wrapper, wet the edges and fold together. Try to not have any air. They freeze pretty well. I cooked mine by boiling them for a couple minutes. I suppose you could fry them. I think the might explode in the microwave.
