Cruise then Italy 2015

April 1, 2015 we flew to Fort Lauderdale to pick up the ship Holland-America's Zeiderdam.

We cruised to Rome in 15 days with one stop on Maderia/Funchel then three Spanish ports - Cadiz, Malaga and Cartagena. Then on to Civitavecchia the port for Rome.

We then spent two weeks in Italy - Three nights in Rome, three nights in Florence, two nights in Siena, one night in Volterra, back to Florence for one night then four nights in an apartment in Milan.

There were actually two very different vacations tied together here. The ship is sort of lazy with lots of socializing and eating. The Italy part was a lot of history, hiking, packing and unpacking.

Here is the cruise.

Here is Italy.

Here are Shutterfly books Deb did. You don't have to be a member to access them. I'd suggest using full screen to look at them.

Rome and Florence

Hill towns, Milan and cruise

Deb took about a million pictures. I only took about half a million.
The exchange rate was less then $1.10 per Euro. The best I can remember.
Americans always look like grinning idiots walking down the street smiling and saying "hi" to people. They think we are crazy.
I'm nearly finished with the main pictures. I plan on adding a bunch of "extras" in the next few days.
